I would like to dedicate this Blog to my beautiful great Grand mother Emily Gillard,
Although she is gone she is not forgotten, and never will be.

First I would like to share a poem that I wrote and read out at her funeral :


Angel - By Emily Bond

We were all very lucky
To have an angel in our life
In popsocks and slippers
A mother, Grandmother A wife

A person who gave unconditional love
And support through everything
A woman who touched our lives for the better
Has now gained her wings

It seems as though she was only on loan
And sure enough in due time
She was beckoned back to heaven
To watch over us from up high

Talking about you wont be enough
A poor second best
Because when your blessed by an angel
It leaves you speechless

We know your watching over us
And healing us while we cry
But although we are gonna miss you Nan
Angels never die
